1. Description

TCC-0006 Visual Warning Beacon

The TCC-0006 visual warning beacon is an LED-based signaling device designed for use in hazardous industrial environments where explosive gas or dust atmospheres may be present. The unit is certified according to ATEX and IECEx standards and operates using intrinsic safety protection (Ex ia), making it suitable for the highest-risk hazardous areas.

The beacon operates on a 24 V DC power supply and provides a high-visibility light signal for safety alerts and status indication. It can be configured for flashing or steady light operation, typically selectable through an internal switch. The high-intensity LED technology ensures low power consumption, high reliability, and long service life.

The device features a robust enclosure with IP65 protection, providing resistance against dust ingress and water jets, which makes it suitable for demanding industrial conditions.

Designed for installation in hazardous areas classified as Zones 0, 1, 2 (gas) and Zones 20, 21, 22 (dust), the beacon must be connected through a certified intrinsic safety barrier (Zener barrier or galvanic isolator) to ensure that the electrical energy in the circuit remains below the ignition limit.
