🔧 Module Description
The CHQ-SIM is an addressable single input monitoring module designed for use with analogue addressable fire detection systems from Hochiki.
It provides one supervised input that allows the fire alarm control panel to monitor the status of external devices or contacts within the fire alarm system.
The module supervises the connected circuit using 470 Ω and 10 kΩ resistors, ensuring reliable detection of normal, alarm, and fault conditions. This allows the fire alarm control panel to continuously check the integrity of the circuit and detect any wiring faults.
The CHQ-SIM communicates with the fire alarm control panel via the ESP addressable protocol and is powered directly from the loop, simplifying installation and reducing the need for additional power supplies.
