Product: Conventional Heat Detector
Model: DCD-1E-IS
Brand: Hochiki
Type: Rate-of-Rise Heat Detector with Fixed Temperature
Nominal Activation Temperature: approximately 55–60 °C
Application: Conventional fire detection systems for hazardous (ATEX) areas
The DCD-1E-IS is an intrinsically safe conventional heat detector designed for fire detection in hazardous and explosive environments.
It combines rate-of-rise temperature detection with a fixed temperature threshold, allowing rapid detection of abnormal temperature increases caused by fire.
The detector is certified ATEX II 1G EEx ia IIC T5, making it suitable for installation in Zone 0 and Zone 1 hazardous gas areas when used with an appropriate intrinsically safe barrier.
